Salon

The Vision

The vision for Vasken’s first boutique salon was conceived from his love for architecture and design, his acute understanding of aesthetic beauty as well as exceptional quality and service.

This is a highly conceptual space where the salon’s location, design and ambiance are exclusively fine-tuned in order to amplify the salon experience while creating an ultimate workspace for the artistry of hair to come through.

As Westchester is going through its own Renaissance, especially White Plains, we wanted to bring a salon that would not only correspond to this development but actually lead the way in high design and luxury.

The Look

The crisp white environment is a clear background, a clean palette, which accurately showcases the color and the hair design. Sharp, clean and glossy surfaces, along with beautiful ambient soft lighting give the space a very flattering glow, perfect for hair color.

The layout in the salon is very cohesive and harmonious between the color and styling departments. The open color bar takes the mystery out of hair color; adds clarity and brings awareness and appreciation to the science behind the hair coloring process. The shampoo bar area brings unity to the space and the coffee bar area creates a social setting where clients can observe the energy of the salon and get to know the staff.

The unique ceiling design was conceived to preserve the height of the space as well as serve as a soundproofing buffer, minimizing the usual ‘salon’ noise and creating a much more pleasant softer ambiance. The accent of the red lampshades adds a punch of color, creating a spot light on each client giving them distinction and importance.

Our clients are the most discerning in Westchester and they expect the highest level of service, naturally they should come to the most aesthetically beautiful and correctly designed space. This is where the latest hair artistry meets ultimate salon design.
