Jenika’s journey as a hairstylist started when she was a little girl. She has always been fascinated about different types of hair and textures. Her timing could not have been better by joining the Vasken Demirjian Salon, as increasingly so our clientele are seeking talented artists who have the understanding and the ability to sculpt and texturize hair as Jenika. Her childhood curiosity is now a passion she practices everyday. With a strong foundation and training with platform artist Nick Arrojo from the TV show “WHAT NOT TO WEAR", She began her career by assisting in fashion shows and working on commercials. Soon after, She became a freelance editorial hairstylist and worked on magazine covers, editorials, Broadway theater shows, model portfolios, weddings and special events. She is extremely creative and eager to try something new and makes great use of different accessories for a totally unique look. Today, she finds herself continuing her art and education at our salon, working along with some amazingly creative and talented artists. She is very excited and honored to be part of this amazing team and we in return are simply delighted she has chosen our salon as her platform to create her magic.
